I discover new music on the fashion runway, and I owe that all to Michel Gaubert.  Gaubert is a Paris-based sound director in the world of high fashion (one of the coolest jobs in the world, no?) and creates soundtracks for clients such as Chanel, Gucci, Dior and more.  He has an impressive library of over 360,000 songs, 20,000 LPs and 60,000 CDs (he started collecting in the 80s) and curates them for the catwalk, facilitating a creative exchange between the clothes and the songs.  You can access hours of his amazing sounds from past and recent runway shows at this link.
